Winter Snow
What a wonderful God! This snow moved in yesterday afternoon and this is what we woke up to this morning. We received about 5.5 inches. Our son is loving this weather! Here is a video clip of him sliding down this hill.
My husband had to leave early yesterday in order to get to the town he is training at. He made it safely, thank God!
He is on to week 2 of his law enforcement training! Last week he qualified and received a Sharp Shooter certificate. We are proud of him! It was hard to say good-bye yesterday. Just hope they get easier. I went back to work last week and our son went back to school. We've had a lot of changes in a 2 week period. We are glad to have this day off to relax and drink some hot chocolate. My mom and I are working on a 1000 piece puzzle. And I have a few books I'm reading by the fire place.
God is good! Life is good!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
2011, we accept you with open arms! We are so happy to have you here. As we count our many blessings God gave us in 2010, we would appreciate many more this year. In 2010:
Husband- Adopted my son
In May, we celebrated our 1 year anniversary!
Accepted as a Seasonal Park Ranger
Ended his job working with the City Parks Dept
Our Son- Graduated from Preschool
Started Kindergarten
Learned to tie his shoes
Learned to read and write
Me- Ended my career in banking
Became a stay at home mom, working part time
Accepted an offer to an accounting job, that I absolutely love and finally made me realize this is what I was created to do
My employer changed management companies, in return, I was laid off
With my husband's new career, we decided to move out of the house we were living in.
And now, 2011, we have so many things in store. Today, we are going to accept an offer on the land we own that we are selling. We are officially moving out of our house. And my husband will be leaving for training tomorrow. Its going to be a long 12 weeks, but will be well worth it in the end.
Any New Year's Resolutions? As usual, my goal is to lose weight. That is my husband's as well. I would like to start selling items on Ebay. Last year mine was more "Me" time. That didn't work out too much. I am anxious to see what this year brings.
A lot of my friends and their families have had a horrible 2010. I pray that they have a better year and their prayer requests are answered.
Well its off to bed I go, got a long day ahead of us.
Happy New Year!!!
Until Next Time,
Amber
